First of all, we need to understand the way search engines work. Search engines; It consists of 3 separate components: web browser, directory, and user interface. Web browsers scan all websites on the internet and collect the URLs of the content that should be indexed in the search engine index. It then moves the information it collects to the servers in the search engine’s data center.

Search engines rate website content and the relationship of links to each other using a complex set of algorithms. Highly rated websites and content rank at the top of search engine results. Search engine ranking algorithm; Uses factors such as link structure, website age, keywords, responsive design (mobile compatibility), and website visitor statistics

What are the factors affecting your SEO? 

-Domain age

Domain age is a big affective factor in ranking in many search engines. It must be at least 3 years. Domains with a duration of fewer than 3 years are considered a temporary site by search engines such as Google. The longer the domain is, the more advantageous it will be in terms of SEO.


Keywords are one of the main parts of SEO. The word limit should be limited to 6-8 otherwise it may be perceived as spam. When entering keywords, they must be compatible with the description and title inputs.

-Analyzing the opponents

If you analyze your opponents it could have good effects on you. You can find the weaknesses of your competitors and focus on them. You can identify the strengths of your competitors and you can be inspired.

-Title and description

You should use a maximum of 130 words in your meta description and title. Make sure they contain your keywords.

-Image optimization

Pictures to be used on the sites are generally not used in their original size. A 400×400 pixel picture is used by reducing it in an area of 100×100 pixels. However, the real source of the picture is a 400×400 pixel picture. Therefore, the picture is placed according to the original resolution, regardless of what size it is used in. Therefore, there is a larger image where it should be used. For this reason, we should use the images by sizing them according to the actual area we will use.
